Mission and Vision
The A.G Richardson staff is committed to providing an education of exceptional quality in a safe and disciplined environment that responds to the individual needs of each student. In partnership with parents and our community, we are committed to the success of each child - intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically. Through our joint efforts, students will develop character, respect, pride, and an appetite for learning that will serve as the foundation for life-long success.

Belief Statements

At A.G. Richardson Elementary School, we believe:

  • that the purpose of our school is to provide our students with the best possible programs of instruction and guidance to equip our children with skills to be successful in the 21st century
  • acknowledge that our students have individual needs and interests
  • in an environment in which the students are known as individuals provides them with the opportunity to succeed
  • in meeting the needs of our students through a variety of materials or methods at their individual instructional level
  • in maintaining high expectations for all students in order to develop independent achievers
  • that a partnership with parents and the community enhances our students' level of success
  • in providing a wide range of experiences for our students that promotes their intellectual, emotional, and cultural growth
