About Us

Welcome to A. G. Richardson Elementary School

Built in 1992, A. G. Richardson is located in the southern part of Culpeper County at the intersection of Routes 29 and 15. The school is named after Dr. Archie Gibbs Richardson, an African American educator in Virginia who served in many roles including Associate Director of Secondary Education for the Commonwealth of Virginia. His writings are archived at Virginia State University.

We serve students in PreK through fifth grade and have a student enrollment of approximately 600 students. A. G. Richardson's staff and students have worked hard to ensure that the school is fully accredited by the Commonwealth of Virginia. We look forward to working with you and your child in the year(s) to come!
