Friday's snow day certainly got everyone in the holiday spirit - but it didn't stop our amazing PAC team from getting the Santa Breakfast ready! Students in Ms. Sheads' class are testing three different masses with force and motion. They are measuring the distance a cup traveled after rolling different sized balls into the cup! Everyone hypothesized correctly that the ball with more mass would push the cup furthest.
Meanwhile, students in Mrs. Day's class also worked with the same concepts, except with ramps and cars (with the added concept of friction on different surfaces). Such great teaching and learning happens everyday at AGR!

Mrs. Childress’s 1st graders kicked off the Thanksgiving vibes this morning with a fun (and delicious!) pumpkin pie–making activity!









Several third grade classes watched The Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and then used measurement skills to create Snoopy’s recipe for Thanksgiving, which includes jelly beans, toast, popcorn, and pretzels. Pictured are Ms. Ciccarone's class enjoying a yummy math class!
