Here is today's Robo call as a reminder there is no school this coming Friday.

Today, Mrs. McFarland’s 3rd grade class enjoyed a sweet treat after hearing about the history of chocolate from the last mystery reader for this year. Each student contributed a yummy ingredient, and then everyone enjoyed the candy salad!! Thanks to all our mystery readers for sharing their love of reading with the class this year.

5th graders got a visit from middle school counselors to discuss the transition to middle school, which is right around the corner!

How illuminating! Mrs. Sheads' 5th Grade students learned that the bigger the battery (or more of them), the brighter the light and more power! Students made closed circuits and then tried different conductors and insulators within their circuits.

A first, and last, for many 5th graders, recess in the snow! Here they are actively playing among the flakes!

Today, AGR Alumni Ben Tomblin (son of AGR staff's Mrs. Tomblin), as part of his Eagle Scout project and with much help from his troop, built three circular benches on the Grade 2nd-5th playground. These were needed for students and staff, and will certainly get lots of use. Thanks so much Ben and his Boy Scout troop!
