School Lunch Hero Day is celebrated annually on the first Friday in May—this year, that day was today, May 1—to honor school nutrition professionals who prepare healthy meals, manage allergies, and serve students with care. Created by author Jarrett Krosoczka, it recognizes the dedication of cafeteria staff, cooks, and staff. We love our AGR School Lunch Heroes!
