Mrs. McFarland’s 3rd grade students posed for a place value picture while they were rolling 5 digit numbers using place value dice. They practiced writing numbers in standard form and comparing the numbers. They also ordered numbers from least to greatest and greatest to least! They can show their parents how to do this on back to school night!

Miss Epstein's kindergarteners celebrated Jersey Day and Fun Friday today!

Students in 5th grade used 2 or more substances to create a mixture and were still able to separate them out due to the fact that the substances still kept their original properties (Berger and Sheads classes pictured)

Students in Miss Simpson's 4th Grade class are seen here working on Virginia maps as a cumulative project identifying regions, major waterways, as well as each region's top products and industries.

Ms. C's 3rd graders are working in teams with place value. We are place value champs and we can represent numbers 2 different ways into the hundreds.
