We are pleased to share information about a new, optional Chromebook Protection Plan available to students in grades 1–12 for the 2025–2026 school year. This plan is designed to provide peace of mind for families and ensure students can continue to benefit from their assigned technology throughout the year with minimal interruption.

📘 What Is the Chromebook Protection Plan?

The plan helps cover repair or replacement costs in the event of accidental damage to school-issued technology equipment. For just $30.00 per student per school year, families can avoid unexpected repair expenses for up to two (2) incidents of accidental damage.

🚌✨ Safety first! Today, our Kindergarten, Pre-K, and 1st grade students practiced their bus evacuation drills. They did a fantastic job listening to instructions and learning how to exit the bus quickly and safely in case of an emergency. 🚍👏

Hello and welcome back!! I would like to share with you a few key points so that I can keep your children safe and healthy throughout the upcoming year. If any of the following conditions apply to your child please contact your school nurse as soon as possible so that we can discuss what needs to be done.🦊

5. Parent/guardian must bring prescribed medication in a pharmacy labeled container to the school nurse. A physician must sign the Request to Provide Medication form, as well as a parent/guardian. No student is permitted to transport medication. 6. Over the counter medication during school hours: any medication, other than those listed on the health card: Parent/guardian must bring medication, in the original container, to the school and sign a permission to administer medication form. Students are not permitted to carry over the counter medication on their person during school or at any after school activity. These are just a few of the conditions we encounter on a daily basis within the school system. We rely on you to share as much information as possible so that we can keep your child safe. It is of the upmost importance for you to communicate with your school nurse regarding any health concerns you may have. Please feel free to contact your school nurse to discuss any questions or concerns you have. We look forward to caring for you and your family in the upcoming school year! 🌿 Thanks to a generous donation, our 4th graders got to enjoy an awesome Float on the Farm field trip with Friends of the Rappahannock! 🚣‍♂️ They explored nature up close—learning about different plants and animals, how they live together, and how they change with the seasons. It was a fun, hands-on way to connect what we’ve been learning in science to the real world! 🌱🐢
