Tomorrow morning, our staff will be ready and waiting to greet your student with smiles and hugs. We are hopeful that the connections we have made with our returning students help put a pep in their step and a smile on their faces. I’d like to ask you for grace and patience as we kick off a new school year. We do not take lightly the responsibility of caring for your child throughout the day and getting them home safely. Our processes may take longer the first week or so as we adjust to a new group of students and reacclimate to the dynamics of having 650+ students in new classes this year. I ask for grace for our teachers, office staff, and bus drivers as we do our best to make school happen. Together, we all want what is best for your child. It is my honor to be the principal of Yowell Elementary and help create a space where kids and staff enjoy coming each day. Happy First Day, Mrs. Fiscus.” The Yowell Elementary School logo is placed on the bottom right corner of the backpack.
