
Competing in a school-wide (state and national) contest, AGR students work in Prodigy to answer questions. AGR was #1 in the state for the month of January and February, and is on its way to win March! Prizes and in-game boosters are won, and huge $ if we're #1 in the nation!



AGR 3rd graders in Mrs. LaFontaine’s class practiced money skills today with a trip to Mrs. Standley’s store. During the wrap-up, children noted two things: it’s good to know how much items cost, and how much change you should get; and after shopping, you have zero dollars!





Mrs. Day’s 5th grade class are building simple circuits and testing what household materials are either conductors of electricity or insulators.

Miss McGuire’s 1st class had the vocab word "soil" today, so the kids got to touch soil from a plant. Is it spring yet?




AGR celebrates Read Across America Week with themed days! Yesterday, students (and staff) dressed as book characters. Here are some pictures from Monday. Today is Silly Day, and tomorrow, dress as a famous person!

AGR 1st graders in Mrs. McFarland's class are applying the scientific method to dissolve candy hearts using warm water. We celebrate each month of school with a STEM rotation day!
Meanwhile, Mrs. Childress’s 1st grade class participated in a “Trap your Leprechaun” lego Stem activity. Check out the amazing school spirit!

AGR 1st year (and 1st Grade) teacher, Mrs. Harleigh Childress passed her 4th and FINAL PRAXIS test this weekend.! Mrs. Childress has gone from CCPS bus driver to CCPS teacher! We are SO PROUD of her! Way to go Mrs. Childress!
