
Our Veteran's Day Assembly is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 11 at 9:00. We will have a recognition of our veterans, along with a guitar rendition of the National Anthem by AGR 5th Grader Max Johnston! Additionally, we will have a slideshow - please see the attached flyer for info.


On Friday, Ms. Ciccarone's third graders had a blast coding and programming Ozobots - some coded them using Ozoblockly, while others used markers to color code. What a fun time!

Mrs. Hoy was pied today by our Fun Run fundraiser top earner, Vincent Quartararo, as well as the Worrall children who were randomly chosen fundraisers. What a sweet ending to our successful fundraiser!



Many thanks to the Culpeper Schools Transportation Department, especially our AGR Bus Drivers and aides, for their dedication and care to get our students to and from school safely everyday! We celebrated the team with a luncheon today during Transportation Appreciation Week.


Thanks to the Rapidan fire department for a visiting AGR kindergartners this morning to discuss fire, safety, and community helpers.





AGR kindergartners in Mrs. Goff's class today explored with Bee Bots - these are robots that help them understand the concept of coding.

Today, AGR 1st graders visited Float on Farms, located on the Robinson River. Students walked a nature trail to find signs of fall and looked at some animal habitats. What a great tie in to learning at school! #BulldogPride





After visiting the pumpkin patch yesterday at Round Hill Farms, AGR kindergarteners complete pumpkin rotations this morning!

AGR 1st Graders in Mrs. Childress' class worked on estimating the length of classroom objects & checked their estimations using candy corn to measure; meanwhile, Mrs. McFarland's are working on grouping by 10s and 1s. Students can practice this at home by playing with their food!
