An amazing turnout for STEM night! We're here until 6:30!









This week Mrs. White's class completed a science experiment to observe the states of matter. They made "Mystery Matter Brew" and recorded their observations of solid (sherbert) and liquid/gas (Sprite). Oh, and they ate their matter brew, too!




Mrs. Birch's 4th Graders are pictured here enjoying a little mid-morning recess to fulfill their earned minutes from good behavior in the cafeteria this week!!


Tomorrow night is the AGR STEM Night from 5:00-6:30! Here are some pictures from our planetarium, up all week and leading up to the event for PreK through 5th Graders. In addition to that, there are Legos, Keva planks, Ozobots, Bee Bots, Canva, Penny Floats, Oobleck, paper airplanes, telescopes, Culpeper Soil and Water Conservation District, and more! We hope to see you there!

Mrs.Fuentes, AGR's ESL teacher, created a bulletin board in our cafeteria to recognize Hispanic heritage month, which started this week and runs through October 15. Keep an eye out for more activities during this time.

The AGR E-Sports Club will begin in early- to mid-October! Meetings will take place on Wednesday mornings before school. If your child is interested and able to attend, please have them tell their teacher for an interest form. If accepted, a separate letter will come home.

Miss Epstein's Kindergarteners did a fun science experiment with Mrs. Standley (AGR retired math specialist)! We made elephant toothpaste that went along with a story.
